We work with organisations in your local Torus neighbourhood, with the aim of helping you to become healthier, feel more connected to your community, boost your confidence, look at ways to reduce stress and anxiety, and more.

Activities for residents living in Torus’ Extra Care Schemes
Speak to your dedicated Health and Wellbeing Officer at your Torus Extra Care Scheme for regular free sessions to benefit older residents.
Budget recipes to try at home
Make your food budget go further by trying out some of these affordable meal ideas.
Coffee mornings
Join us for a brew while meeting others in your community. Free support to find work, build skills, improve your wellbeing and ways to make your money go further.
Community Cooking Sessions
We are looking to pull together some free community cooking sessions across Torus communities and want to give you the chance to help decide where we bring them to.
Community Investment Fund
If you’re part of a local community group/charity that’s across Torus communities – check out the chance to apply for funding from us.

Let’s work together to look at ways to help improve your health and wellbeing, contact our Community Referring team. As a Torus customer you can self-refer to the team.
Digital Support
Stay connected by signing up to digital support in your area, to build skills and confidence online.
FireFit Youth and Community Hub
The Hub offers young memberships from age 6, providing children and young people with fun and engaging activities in a safe place. Adult fitness memberships and community coffee mornings are also available.
Healthy Neighbours Project
Find out about free and local activities taking place near you, helping you connect to your community. You also have the option of becoming a volunteer!
Healthy Start Vouchers
If you’re more than 10 weeks pregnant or have a child under 4, you might be able to get hold of help to buy healthy food, milk and vitamins.
