Each year, Torus Foundation supports thousands of people living across Liverpool, St Helens and Warrington with a wide range of social projects. That includes people living in Torus homes and members from the wider community.
We plan to invest about £5m a year in community action, projects and initiatives that improve lives, increase opportunity, bring people together and makes communities much stronger and resilient.
Our varied programme of support covers four main themes:
Jobs and Training
Skills and training opportunities that unlock new pathways into employment
Health and Wellbeing
Expert guidance to help people manage their income and benefits with confidence
Money and Benefits
Access activities that improve health and wellbeing
Young People
Inspiring activities and experiences that help young people to thrive
Our partners include national and regional government organisations, other charities and not-for-profits, community groups, corporations and others.
Primarily profits from the Torus group are used to fund our work in the community, but we also need to access public and private sector grant funding to make the sustainable impact we need to make on such a large scale.
We draw upon decades of experience here in the North West and we’re proud of our successes, but we want to achieve so much more. Maybe we can work together to make that happen and help you to achieve your objectives?

With funding from Public Health Liverpool and The Life Rooms at Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust, Torus Foundation was commissioned to work with local partners to deliver family wellbeing and resilience first aid training through an initiative titled Look aHEAD.
The Foundation partnered with Interface Enterprises and First Person Project, to deliver the family wellbeing and resilience first aid training to over 300 parents, carers, guardians and people looking after children.
Thanks to funding from the North West Hong Kong Welcome Hub, part of the North West RSMP, Torus Foundation has been selected to offer comprehensive employment and skills support to help Hong Kong British Nationals overseas (BNO) visa holders.
The ‘HK Pathways – North West Employment Advice and Support Programme’ is the first region-wide employment programme tailored specifically for BN(O) visa holders and aims to increase access to opportunities and enhance prospects of securing employment and training within the UK job market.
Free support from the programme is now being delivered to Hong Kong British Nationals living across Cheshire and the Liverpool City Region.
Thanks to funding from Energy Saving Trust, Torus Foundation has been able to reach even more people living across Torus communities with key support, including qualified energy advisors to help people with fuel debt, billing errors, applying for seasonal payments such as the Warm Home Discount Payment, water bills, applying for grants to help people reduce energy debts and more.
