Springboard helped Mridula secure a job at her University while she studies for her Master’s degree

Mridula from Chester registered with Springboard at a Careers Event run by The Cheshire & Warrington Pledge at Chester University. She had moved from India to the UK to study for a Masters’ degree and she wanted a part-time job to go alongside her studies.
Mridula’s Springboard employment advisor, Tracy Hooper, from Weaver Vale Housing Trust , helped her to update her CV and gave her advice about searching for jobs and submitting applications.
After attending a number of recruitment days and applying for several jobs, Mridula was successful in gaining a role as a Student Research Assistant at the University of Chester.
Mridula says “my advisor was very helpful and knowledgeable and I’m thankful for all the support provided. I’m looking forward to continuing my course and enjoying my new Research Assistant Role.”
