To enhance the support for young people into work, Torus Foundation has become a gateway organisation for the Government Kickstart Scheme, which is creating high quality 6-month jobs for young people aged 16-24 who are also unemployed and claiming Universal Credit.

The roles are for 6 months, 25 hrs a week and paid £9.50 per hour – more than the national minimum wage.

If you take part in a Kickstart role through the Foundation, the team will be on hand to provide free additional employment and skills support to help build your CV during the six months.

Contact your Work Coaches directly at Job Centre Plus (JCP) to see what you opportunities are available in your area. You’re also welcome to speak to our Employment and Skills team about vacancies currently being organised through Torus Foundation.
