Young people are among those most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in terms of job prospects and access to training.

Torus Foundation delivers a range of employment and skills support which includes the ILM Access to Work programme, creating practical employment opportunities for young people aged between 16 and 24.

The programme offers six-month work experience placements across a number of sectors and pays a training allowance.

Vacancies are open to those who are not in employment, education or training and living in the Liverpool City Region and are a Torus tenant (or another tenant of a social housing association). At the end of the six months, many trainees may also have an opportunity to extend employment with their placement company.

Current vacancies:

If you’re a tenant interested in one of the vacancies or our wider employment and skills support contact the team for further details.

If you’re an organisation looking to be part of programme and hosting a vacancy within your team, please contact us on 0300 123 5809 or email to find out more.
